Laura Harder is an associate in Cohen & Gresser’s New York office and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Arbitration and White Collar Defense & Regulation practice groups.
Laura has experience in all stages of litigation, from pre-litigation investigation through post-trial and appeals. She has defended high-profile clients in significant litigation matters, with experience drafting key legal documents, managing document review processes, preparing corporate witness interviews, preparing presentations for government regulators, and conducting legal research on complex issues.
Prior to joining Cohen & Gresser, Laura was an associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton. She also worked as an intern in the Narcotics Unit and Violent and Organized Crime Unit at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York; as a policy associate for justice initiatives at the New York City Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice; and as an intern in the Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs at the White House.
Laura holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, Tony Patiño Fellow, and Staff Editor for the Columbia Human Rights Law Review. She earned an A.B. from Princeton University, where she was recognized with the Allen Macy Dulles Prize and the R.W. van de Velde Award.
