Vincent Desry is a partner in Cohen & Gresser’s Paris office.
His practice focuses on white-collar criminal law, general criminal law, and civil and commercial litigation, with deep experience in cross-border cases.
Vincent advises and defends corporate entities, public figures, and executives in high-profile political-financial cases as well as in complex business and financial matters. He is acting for French and international clients.
Vincent has extensive experience in criminal cases involving fraud, money laundering, bribery, tax fraud, misuse of corporate assets, and embezzlement. He intervenes at all stages of proceedings (complaint filing, investigation, trial, enforcement of sentences, international assistance). He has developed specialized experience in contesting criminal seizures and foreign forfeiture enforcement requests.
Vincent has represented clients in several landmark French criminal cases, most recently serving as trial counsel for former President Nicolas Sarkozy in the so-called “Bygmalion” case.
Vincent also regularly intervenes in civil and commercial cases (the pre-litigation period, in futurum investigative measures, proceedings on the merits, civil exequatur, civil conservatory measures).
Prior to joining Cohen & Gresser, Vincent worked at Temime and interned at Allen & Overy (Paris) and Dupond-Moretti & Vey.
Admitted to the Paris and New York State Bars, Vincent holds a Master’s degree in Economic Law from the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po), specializing in Economic Litigation and Arbitration, and an LL.M. from New York University School of Law.

Vincent focuses on white collar and general criminal law, with a strong emphasis on cross-border cases. Vincent Desry holds a Master's degree in Economic Law from the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences-Po), specializing in Economic Litigation and Arbitration, and an LL.M. from New York University. He is a member of the Paris and New York Bars.
Vincent gained his initial experience at Allen & Overy and Dupond-Moretti & Vey before beginning his career at Cabinet Temime in 2017. On November 1, 2024, he joined Cohen & Gresser as a partner on the White Collar Defense & Regulation team.
